I feel a strong pull to get outside where the world is fresh and pure to see what I can manifest with whatever I find there.
It’s an obsession, actually.
Why else would someone lug heavy camera gear to some far-away place to get dirty, cold, wet and sore to painstakingly cobble together something that won’t even last a day?
As an artist, I’m drawn towards the work that I do by the mysterious forces of intuition and inspiration. That’s the way I see it.
There’s an urge to leave the comfort zone and get out there and create something new and challenging.
Find the edge.
The edge of what’s possible.
